There’s more trouble for Nicki Minaj‘s husband Kenneth Petty. 

For, he’s found himself in yet another legal entanglement in the wake of the shocking outburst he and cohorts aimed at Offset – renowned rapper and husband of Minaj’s rival Cardi B.

As reported, clips surfaced of Petty and co hurling insults at the Migos member – while seemingly waiting outside his hotel.

Now, according to legal reporter Meghann Cuniff, the move has amounted to a violation of a 43-year-old probation order.

Petty is a registered sex offender who spent four years in prison after being convicted of first-degree attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl.

In light of his recent actions, a federal judge in Los Angeles has ordered Petty to serve “up to” 120 days on house arrest for “making threatening remarks toward a specific individual while in the company of someone with a criminal record.”

Interestingly, it’s been confirmed that the order was not in any way activated by Offset or Cardi. Rather, it’s the public nature of the threatening actions

As today's filing shows, Petty's U.S. Probation & Pretrial Services officer and his supervisor didn't share Offset's carefree approach to the video. They skipped the Instagram story and clapped back a bit more formally. pic.twitter.com/zdA6ZP9a8R

Also notable: Probation officer and judge did not need an outside report/complaint to act on this. @OffsetYRN and @iamcardib didn’t even seem to care – Offset LOL’d about it in a video as he walked off a jet, I think while going to say hey to Deion Sanders at the Colorado game.
