Quavo‘s sophomore album ‘Rocket Power’ may not have launched to his best first-week commercial performance, but that’s not stopping the former Migos leader from forging ahead with its promotion.

Released August 18, the 18-track ‘Rocket Power’ was lifted as a tribute to Q’s late nephew and fellow Migos member Takeoff who was tragically killed in late 2022. 

Debuting at #18 on the updated Billboard 200 with total sales just north of 33,000 SPS, the premiere comes as the GRAMMY nominee’s lowest solo start to date – moving just a third of the 99,000 SPS first-week figure attached to his 2018 debut album ‘Quavo Huncho.’

Preceded by housed singles ‘Greatness’ and the Future-assisted ‘Turn Yo Clic Up,’ the set was also supported by the tunes ‘Hold Me,’ ‘Disciples,’ and ’11:11.’ The latter got the official video treatment courtesy of a Keemotion-directed clip dropped this week.

“Greatest group, I can count up some blessings,” he raps in the wilderness-inspired visual. “Stay connected like charging a Tessie / F-ck a n-gga, I’m down with my bestie / That’s my ‘phew, I can never forget him.”
