As musical returns go, few are as anticipated as Rihanna‘s.

Now, per a new report, it appears that the Bajan belle’s return could be supported by a slot on the world’s biggest state – the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

According to TMZ, the NFL and Roc Nation have been in deep talks with the diva about top-billing the Halftime Show at next year’s extravaganza.

Interestingly, the same report asserts that there have been discussions with another artist too – and it’s not immediately clear if it would be co-billed or solo.

Rih reportedly turned down the opportunity to perform at Halftime in 2020 as a show of solidarity to Colin Kaepernick.

The news comes after it was revealed that fellow Pop titan Taylor Swift was offered the gig but passed so as to complete the re-recording of her catalog before taking to the Super Bowl stage in the future.

The Super Bowl 2023 takes place on Sunday 12, February 2023 at the State Farm Stadium in Arizona.
