Elton John and Britney Spears have a hit on their hands.
Their song ‘Hold Me Closer’ is now making major moves on the airwaves.

On the latest iteration of the pop radio Airplay Chart, ‘Hold Me Closer’ is one of the biggest gainers. During the tracking week of September 11-17 the song gained 1,282 spins for a total of 6,438 spins.
With the large increase in spins, the track also gains on the airplay chart. On it, it rises five places to a new high of #14.
Notably, the track has been a major success for both John and Spears. It previously debuted and peaked at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and made history for both artists in the process (as we reported here).
