Miley Cyrus unleashed her seventh studio album this week, after months of fan-anticipation.

Originally configured as a three-part EP (see: ‘She Is…’ series), the singer scrapped that idea in favor of a more definitive body of work.

Having navigated many sounds over the course of her career, Cyrus made clear the aim with set was to anchor her artistic proposition.
