I'm hoping that somebody with experience playing both Euphonium and Baritone can give me some guidance on choosing a good mouthpiece for the baritone. I've been playing euphonium and trombone for years, and I recently picked up a Besson baritone and would like to find a good mouthpiece to use with it.
Currently I use a Warburton Demondre or a Schilke 52E2 on the euphonium and a Schilke 51D on trombone. All the mouthpieces I have are large bore, so I was hoping to at least find a starting point for the baritone without randomly ordering a bunch of small bore mouthpieces. I'm guessing that the 52E2 and 51D are probably bigger than I would want on a baritone, but I'm not sure... If not, I would probably start by trying one of them in a small bore version.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
