So, I'm joining a British-style Brass Band at the end of August. At first I was discussing taking a euphonium position, but the band has two solid euphonium players. What they need is another 1st Baritone and I was offered that position. So I plan to take the opportunity and am happy to do so. I'll spend the summer learning treble clef. I have my eye on two Yamaha compensating baritones (above in title).

So those of you who may play baritones in such a band, what do you think of these two choices? Which models do you play and which do you know to be most popular choices in these bands?
