Jimmy Carter Rock & Roll President chronicles President Jimmy Carter’s lifelong passion and connection to the world of rock and roll music. The new film is due out in theaters and virtual cinemas on Sept. 9, with a home release set for Oct. 9. Today, a trailer has dropped, featuring Bob Dylan, Gregg Allman, Willie Nelson and many more.

According to a press release, “Carter’s appreciation for all genres of music and friendships with the likes of Bob Dylan, Gregg Allman, Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash, and Willie Nelson helped to define his administration.”

The film will combine interviews with Carter with contributions from the likes of Nelson, Dylan, Bono, Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Jimmy Buffett, Rosanne Cash, Chuck Leavell, Paul Simon, Andrew Young and Madeleine Albright. In addition, Jimmy Carter Rock & Roll President will feature archival footage of live performances from Nelson, Dylan, Paul Simon and Jimmy Buffett.
