Padman: Padman This biographical drama is about a social entrepreneur Arunachalam Muruganantham, who invented and provided low-cost sanitary napkins to poor women in rural areas. Sonam Kapoor‘s character appears to have helped Padman in his venture, of what we can make out from the trailer. Also starring superstar Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan in a cameo and Radhika Apte in the lead. Directed by R Balki and produced by Twinkle Khanna the movie is slated for release on this Republic Day, 2018.
