Hrithik Roshan has got some great reviews for his brilliant performance in Kaabil. The revenge drama, which was released on Jan 25th locked horns at the box office with Shahrukh Khan's Raees. But despite the clash, Kaabil did a better business than Hrithik's last release, Mohenjo Daro.

Kaabil took a huge jump on the second day of release. As per a daily, the film that opened with Rs 10.43 Crores on day one, earned Rs 18.67 Crores at the box office on the National holiday, which is really good considering Kaabil has got just 40 percent of the theatres across the country, as compared to Raees.

According to trade tracker Ramesh Bala, this is what the early estimates had suggested, "#RaeesvsKaabil Day 2 Early Estimates: India Nett: #Raees – ₹ 26.5 Crs Total – ₹ 47 Crs #Kaabil – ₹ 16 Crs Total – ₹ 26.5 Crs."
Talking about the praises received for his acting prowess in the movie, Hrithik Roshan told a daily, "My upbringing is such that we make small films with a big heart. And with the love that I have received, and the film has received, I want to thank each and everyone of you. And for the love I promise, for my next film, I'll visit every small town in the country to thank you all."
