Kendrick Lamar: After dropping DAMN.. I guess you already knew that. What you may not have known, though, is that rumors are floating around the Internet that Lamar might drop a follow-up Album on Sunday, April 16, called NATION.
According to The Verge, the double-album theory started a few days back on a subreddit. It states that today is Good Friday (also known as the day Jesus was crucified). Two days from now is Easter Sunday, as in, the day Jesus was resurrected. So… DAMN + NATION = DAMNATION. Get it?!
Kendrick instead of taking popularized hip hop and adding story elements above everyone or taking the sound of jazz rap and experimenting with it his own vibe, has managed to take the entire sound of hiphop and concept albums and further experiment on those ideas (DAMN.) so yeah this album is special too...
