Following an extended absence, Lana Del Rey returns to the fore with “Let Me Love You Like a Woman”, the initial single from her upcoming album Chemtrails Over the Country Club.
Courtesy of Universal Music, the first project piece from the New York native since her 2019 effort Norman Fucking Rockwell! comes just a day after Del Rey announced the song alongside a piece of vintage-inspired black-and-white cover art – a possible throwback to 2014’s Ultraviolence.
Del Rey also took to social media to share a video for the track stating “Made a little homemade video for let me love you like a woman. Feels so good to have my favorite song out in the open air XOXO.” As the title suggests, the recording is about loving someone after leaving Los Angeles, “I’m ready to leave LA / And I want you to come / Eighty miles north or south will do,” as Lana embraces these lyrics in her self-created clip.
