P!nk fought through a flu to deliver a stellar National Anthem performance at this year’s Super Bowl. She powered through, even spitting out a throat lozenge right before performing (a moment that of course social media users caught though they initially thought it was gum).

The Philadelphia native clapped back at a hater who criticized her performance saying in a tweet, “Yeah but altleast I suck while singing our countries national anthem, and you just suck by yourself on a dirty couch”.
