Calvin Harris is coming off a pretty monstrous 2017 following the success of Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1, but it appears the EDM hitmaker isn’t letting up in 2018 either. The Scottish DJ and producer just released his new single “Nuh Ready Nuh Ready,” which features PARTYNEXTDOOR, and sounds like nothing he’s ever produced.

The tune has deep house driven melody with a dancehall flair to it, and it perfectly blends ideas taken from hip-hop, reggae, and ‘90s house tracks. While he’s not known for making music that fits into any of those descriptors, they’re all hot in the commercial space right now, and Harris could potentially have another hit on his hand by melding all three styles.

Harris has been going hard promoting the single over the past few weeks, even putting up a billboard in NYC of the date 02.08.18 along with a photo/gif of a red monster & spinning skull. Watch the official video below, and let us know what you think of it in the comments below!
