Shia LaBeouf has been a hot topic in the hip-hop world these last two weeks. The Even Stevens star shocked the world with his trash talking freestyles that he performed on The Breakfast Club and Sway In The Morning.
And some rappers have felt uneasy since. Yes, we’re talking to you Soulja Boy and Lil’ Yachty.
The Holes actor revealed his knack for hip-hop through his obvious skill set of wordplay and cadence. Don’t forget LaBeouf permanently inked his thighs with portraits of Tupac, Notorious B.I.G. and two, not one, Missy Elliotts’. What’s more hip-hop than that?
Immediately after showboating his viral freestyle talents, fans and foes alike have been awaiting an upcoming music project or mixtape, one of them being Grammy-nominated lyricist, Chance The Rapper.
In a recent tweet, Chance states would not only listen, but pay actual cold hard cash to own and support it.
I would purchase a Shia LaBeouf album. And I can merch it would be a classic.

Whoa. I’m not sure how I necessarily feel about purchasing music from an ex-Disney star, being that all we really saw was a freestyle on YouTube.
Now don’t get me wrong, the boy got bars, but I’d rather support an independent musician than an actor who got bored and decided to stir up controversy.
Sorry MC LaBeouf, we’ve already accepted Drake as our child-star-prodigy-turned-rap-legend. And that’s some hefty catching up to do.
Classic rap? Definitely not.
Classic parody? I think we’re on to something.
