Cadence is stopping at nothing to prove she has what it takes. Today, the Bay Area native debuts her first single “PTSD” off her upcoming project set to drop this Summer 2017.
PTSD is an acronym for what is known as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. A song that came so effortlessly to Cadence and her producer Manny (@itsmemte) which was written and produced in less than an hour.
Cadence, who is all too familiar with mental illness; tells the narrative of someone who is struggling to open up in a relationship. Seeing the ups and downs of relationships first hand, she was able to create a song inspired by stories of others, as well as her own.
She hopes to inspire others to go into any relationship with understanding and a genuine approach as the lyrics say “I’m tryna get to know you, like really get to know you”.
