Brighton, UK Garage Rock band, Sweet Jonny was formed as a result of the four members' general distaste and disillusionment with the current state of the rock music scene they once fell in love with.
Its members hail from a do-nothing town in the middle of nowhere. They once described themselves as a gutter garage rock band, adding that they are fervent, desperate and violently energetic and described their sound as a torrent of noise, sweat and more often than not, their own blood. They further added, "think The Pixies on speed or The Cramps if they were denied it".
