Fall Out Boy performed at London’s O2 Arena on November 2, the first of two planned shows. As a surprise, the band included a cover of Blur’s highly regarded Song “Song 2.”

Fall Out Boy has been working hard on the “So Much For (2our) Dust” concert Tour, which is currently in support of the band’s eighth studio album, “So Much (for) Stardust.” The tour consists of five legs and 76 shows. The group has been playing to sizable crowds, especially at London’s O2 Arena, one of the biggest ever attended.

A hit-filled presentation covering much of the band’s musical career was delivered by the group in an exuberant display of flair and musicianship. performed on the tour for the first time.

It has been noted that the usual suspects were accounted for – “Dance, Dance”, “Thanks fr th Mmrs”, and “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)”. Of course, a significant portion of the aforementioned new album was also presented to the audience, the title track being played for the first time on the tour.

There were also a few covers in the setlist: Billy Joel’s “We Didn’t Start the Fire”, Jimmy Eat World’s “The Middle”, a piano medley detail of Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now”, and most notably, Blur’s “Song 2” – a rare hit first conceived and recorded as a joke targeting the band’s record company, which took a life of its own as a well-received moment of genre-shifting for the Britpop originals.
