Be among the first to receive free tracks from the mixtape project "Non Prophet"! Christian Rapper Pookie wit tha Uzi has provided our marketing team songs to share from his project. Included are "Why You Running" and other selected songs we have for those that are interested. The final production of the project has many songs, which includes collaborations and the remake of tunes from the album “Psalms 33:3”.
The Vision For "Non Prophet"
Part of Pookie's vision for his project relates to Acts 2:17, which states "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams". "Non Prophet" delineate a calling that God intended for Pookie to prophesy on his behalf. Needless to say, Pookie did not adhere to the calling at first and was continually fleeing from the quest. Thus the title "Why You Running" fits the description of Pookie's behavior prior to accepting the job of ministering through Christian rap music. I guess you can say Pookie underestimated the love of God! He assumed that his destructive lifestyle could not possibly earn him an opportunity to be a messenger of the high and almighty living God! What Pookie did not know is that no one deserves to be a prophetic messenger for God. It's through his grace and mercy that he sent his one and only begotten son to pay the ultimate price for our sins! And I’m sure that many of us Christians can affirm that we also ran from God when we first were called to evangelize.

You might know of someone that is running from God at this very moment! Perhaps someone that likes secular rap music and does not know that Christian hip hop hits just as hard! Music is the universal language that connects us all and has a profound way of touching our souls!
