Movie Monroe is an American rapper, singer and songwriter from Buffalo, NY.

Monroe was born November 4, 1991 in Buffalo, NY. Monroe found his passion for music through his father, who was the lead singer in several bands. After his father passed away, Monroe would stray away from music until his later years.

Monroe stated his biggest musical influences as The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Frank Ocean, Amy Winehouse, Nas, Biggie, The Game and Nirvana. He also stated “almost every rapper has influenced him one way or another.” Monroe’s biggest life influence is Muhammad Ali.

Monroe released his debut mixtape “LO LIFE” October 1, 2018.
