Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, Rihanna and Chris Rock are among the stars to contribute to Mic's video listing the 23 reasons why black Americans have been Killed, particularly in recent years since the launch of the Black Lives Matter movement. The video supports the We Are Here Movement and follows the viral murders of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile at the hands of white police officers.
"In other words, just for being black in America and doing absolutely nothing, these everyday actions can be seen as not servile enough," Maxwell and Rihanna each partially deliver at the end of the clip. Keys returns to the screen encouraging viewers to visit the We Are Here Movement website to encourage President Obama and congress "that the time for change is now."
The Hate That Hate Creates

When Malcom X said "When the Chickens Come Home To Roost" He was implying that since the white man had used violence so often and so easily to people around the globe, it was just cosmic balance that the same hate and violence he dished out would circle back around to haunt them.
In reference to Cops, the same injustices that blacks suffered at the hands of racist cops and whites never batted an eye are now outrage that cops where killed by a BLACK sniper was the result of a long line of violent acts against African Americans, the culmination of hate.
The American judicial system has allowed white cops to intimidate, kill, profile, mass incarcerate and brutalize blacks for generations.
Now the same purveyors of injustice just reaped what it had been sowing.
On Dec. 1, 1963, immediately after the assassination of John F. Kennedy, the Nation of Islam leader Malcolm X responded to that event with the comment that, "Being an old farm boy myself, chickens coming home to roost never did make me sad; they've always made me glad,"
I personally expressed sadness and concern whenever any human life is taken away.
Only God who gave us life has the right to take it away.
