Another chance to adore Arms Of Tripoli: One Way Plastic

Californian post-rockers Arms Of Tripoli come with a new EP: One Way Plastic. They have already got reviews! Lets have a look at them:

Idioteq says:
“Using some standard rock fare such as guitar, bass and drums along with the addition of less-typical rock instrumentation, such as Vibraphone, Rhodes and Omni-chord, AOT has been able to stand out amongst the sea of post-rock and carve out a niche all its own. At the heart of their sound is well written songs with very catchy melodies, at times melancholy and often cinematic while being free of over indulgence.”

In their exclusive Heavy Blog Is Heavy premiere, Nick Cusworth says:

“Opener “Edwards Edward” is just a ripper through and through, strongly calling to mind the heavier and grungier side of compatriot post-math/prog groups like The Physics House Band. As usual, the band excels at casting about a wide net of lines and roles for each of its members, with sticky guitar riffs, burning bass lines, and deft and acrobatic drumming interlocking to form a mechanical aural beast.”

Prog Archives joins the conversation and says:

The first shot “Edwards Edward” is a killer. As the track goes ahead, their play gets more and more powerful and explosive. Fantastic is their melody line flavored with melancholic, tragic polarity regardless of loud distortion of the guitar. The following one “Pseudo Recreations” is a colorful one.

The record is out there. It is great chance to adore this band.
