There seems to be a trend in music nowadays. You make a party record and release it in the late spring, early summer, it sells you make millions. Well for this rapper, he is bringing another season. He is showing everyone that Winter is the new Summer, and he is taking it by storm. His name is Kyle Winters and he is 18 years old and currently attending Syracuse University. From East Brunswick, New Jersey, Winters is quickly showing everyone why he is a force to be reckoned with. He unique rap flow of a mixture between speed rapping and rapping slowly is something that is not always accomplished well. However, before I keep moving on let's get the obvious out the way. Kyle Winters is white. Now I am not going to make him a cliche and compare him to rappers like Yelawolf or Mac Miller, and I'm definitely not going to compare him to Eminem. I'm not saying Kyle is garbage, he really isn't, but I don't want to make him a cliched white person in the rap game. Race is an important part of the game and we always compare people to people of their race. That issue, however, is for another entry. Let's get back to Kyle here. Kyle began rapping as a hobby, just for fun, as most rappers do. He slowly began to notice that he had talent, and was writing some very good verses so he began to take it much more seriously. He drew his inspiration from rappers like Lupe Fiasco who had a unique way of rapping and told different stories than what people were accustomed to. Kyle new that in order to get people past the issue of race and make himself stand out, is to take the bull by the horns and make a new sort of rap style.
