Marshall vs Marshall – tabs Van Halen, ACDC, & Hendrix!
Hey everyone, welcome back!
This time I am comparing my two Marshall amps back to back in an amp showdown.
Fighting out of the 60s corner, my 1959 HW Super Lead 100 reissue with no master volume and hand wired electronics.
I grabbed this amp used when I was thinking of doing an Eric Johnson video about the Cliffs Of Dover solo live in 1984 and it fit the bill perfectly.
Fighting out of the 70s corner, my 1977 50W 2204 JMP with cascaded preamps (after market mod) and master volume.
I bought this more out of curiosity and to be honest did not like the stock version so I had it modded to cascaded preamps and EL34s and it really helped the drive and bottom end.
