London-based Avante Black had labels scrambling to sign them after dropping the heavy bass indie-pop anthem Imaginary Love last year. And now, after signing on the dotted line with Walrus favourites Different Recordings, we finally have some new music form the European four-piece in the alt-pop gem Drug Money.

It’s wonderfully unashamed pop with an explosive chorus reminiscent of the likes of Empire of the Sun, but with Ottilia Zimmerman Kjulsten’s vocals offering a welcome note of glistening Scandinavian roar.

We can’t wait for more.
