One of the most incredible experiences I’ve had in my life was traveling back to my homeland, of the Philippines where I was able to assist some of the villages in getting Clean Water.   Many of the villagers will walk for hours just to get clean water, which I have discovered is an issue much of the world faces.  I feel kind of foolish saying that out loud, but just goes to show how sheltered we really are in our houses and lives. It takes a certain calling and yearning  to get outside of our comfort zone to find these experiences and people that need our assistance.

JoinUsAroundtheWorld is the organization that helped us reach those people.

One of the highlights was being escorted by the local army into the deep jungles to help families off the grid.   These families were the ones that needed assistance more than anything, especially in the realm of clean drinking water.
