This music video mimics the classic silent-films of that time period, representing the lack of voice and rights for women. It also depicts a gender reversal, subjecting the men of the band to face the harsh treatment and criticism that women face on a daily basis from people trying to control who they are. Mandy Lee has faced this unfair treatment firsthand during her rise in the music industry, prompting her to write this song empowering women to stick to their values and know they don’t have to look, act, or dress a certain way to achieve their dreams.
