Hey Agathogirls ‘n’ Agathoghouls,

I’m on the couch now for 6 days because of a bad, bad cough and so I was just searchin’ my old records and stuff and found one of the best – I wouldn’t say the best – CDs I ever bought.

Emperor’s IN THE NIGHTSIDE ECLIPSE

Oh, I remember when I listened to for the first time…awesome!!!

And I have to say, although the sound is not comparable to the major products we have today it is more emotional and deeper than all of the records I listen today. I am young, so I bought this CD 4 or 5 years after its release. It’s simply perfect! Not just the record and the songs – the whole artwork (by Necrolord) is fuckin’ great!

I know it like it was yesterday. I went to the record store and wanted to try black metal for the first time. I was just 14 and I never heard it before…I just liked the shirts and the antichristian stuff (pretty cool, huh?) and so I was standin’ in front of  the records and just chose 4 CDs without hearin’ it.

Slayer – Reign in Blood

Emperor – In the Nightside Eclipse

Impaled Nazarene – Tol cormpt Norz Norz Norz (which I hated first)

Agathodaimon – Blacken the Angel (funny, huh?)

About 2 weeks later I gave the Slayer and Impaled CDs away, because I really hated ‘em. Slayer isn’t one of my faves today…Impaled Nazarene is!

All in all the Emperor record is the best I ever bought and I recommend warmly to everyone here – BUY IT AND LOVE IT!!!
