Starry Sounds By Todd Warner Moore Epitomizes Americana Music

From the first strum of the guitar by Todd Warner Moore on his album called Starry Sounds, the feeling of the Americana way is throughout from start to finish. With the tracks cohesively uniting to form an impressive collection of work, Moore does not disappoint with the latest release. The stories ebb and flow between stories of reflecting and those of a wanderer. Hailing from Kansas City, Kansas, there is an undertone of that of an artist that one can sense in his music. A mixture of influences of the Folk, 60s, Gypsy and Latin Music, Moore makes sure to diverse his sound with the overall sound that he has carefully crafted. He has consistently been releasing music throughout his career, with 2019 being a productive year with the completion of four albums. With no song being a weak song on his album, the one that was definitely a standout is Starry Sounds. With the lyrics making reference to the moonlit beach and describing it as “an uprooted memory, left no trace” this paints a vision of whatever place that may be for the individual listening to the song, and not just a specific image. Moore allows the listener to dream up while hearing his songs the spaces and images that comes to mind. The entire album is not only strong instrumentally, but emotionally as well.
