Live Texas Music Venue Being Sold on Ebay

Here’s something you don’t see every day. A live Music Venue is up for sale in Austin – and it’s available on Ebay!

Doug Geller is selling the Parish’s lease through a 10-day auction. He told Billboard magazine, “This is going to be someone’s Christmas present.”

So far, the high bid is just over $200,000. In case you’re interested in purchasing the lease, below is the information listed for the site, on Ebay:

Located in the heart of downtown Austin in the historic 6th Street district, the Parish is widely regarded as the best indoor live music venue of it’s size, offering the highest quality production for artists and private events alike. The Parish provides an intimate atmosphere for fans to experience musical legends such as Pete Townshend, Slash, Perry Farrell, and Thom Yorke. Other artists, in no particular order, have included: Alt-J, The Struts, Tycho, ZZ Ward, The Black Angels, Lucius, Bonobo, Leon Bridges, Shakey Graves, Bon Iver, Mickey Avalon, Coolio, ShinyRibs, Rusted Root, The Vettes, Cigarettes after Sex, Band of Horses, and many many more.

Ideal for concerts, SXSW, ACL-After parties, corporate parties, weddings, and fundraisers. 1/1/30 – 12/31/34 = $12,558 (option)
1/1/35 – 12/31/39 = $13,733 (option)

Taxes = 42% of total Annual Property Taxes.
Annual 2017 Property Taxes for the entire building: $37,632.29. (42% = $1,315.28 monthly)
For example:
Rent & Taxes for January 2018 = $10,982.28
(Rent 9,667 + Taxes 1,315.28)
