Charley Brewster is a normal teenager whose mother thinks he watches too many late night horror films, Charley’s life is pretty uneventful - until he becomes convinced that his suave and sinister neighbour Jerry Dandridge is a vampire.
No one, least of all the police, will believe that Dandridge is the vicious killer responsible for a spate of bizarre murders. Charley finds an ally in Peter Vincent, a former horror film star and host of TV’s ‘Fright Night Theatre’, in his quest to nail the debonair bloodsucker.
But then the nightmare really begins ...
If you love being scared, it’ll be the night of your life.
On Halloween 2011, on this very blog, we released the special edition, containing for the first time, the complete movie score. I expected that to be the be-all-end-all … was I wrong.
Thanks to the Blu Ray release, Brad Fiedel's classic score revealed more than I could have dreamed. In addition to the 10 new tracks from our previous release, 7 more tracks including the 'Fright Night Theatre' TV theme join this brand new edition which I call 'The Final Cut' since it will never get any better than this.
All songs, bonus features and DVD ROM from the 2011 album are present and there have been a couple of updates and adjustments made.
This has been a labour of love and it couldn't have been possible if it wasn't for The Long Island Ripper, (Mr) Ghostface, who created our 2011 artwork, megamattterra from ffshrine and of course our dream team of artists - Pagemaster, Scoremaster & IamBugz. My thanks, my respect to you all.
So my friends, after much delay, we are proud to present to you the ultimate 'Fright Night' audio experience. Enjoy.
