Such a haunted pallor to this track and I’ll admit to writing that with just seconds on the clock. It made me close the door, window, vents and all other avenues to the outside world and external noise, as that voice needs to have a hushed environment to be fully appreciated. The joy comes from the simplicity but it works and works wonderfully well and reminded me of the Innocence Mission as a result. At just over 2 minutes too Vancouver’s Mikayla Geier has judged it perfectly, giving the listener a pristine excuse for mindfulness through a floating indie pop breeze. KH
