I’m doing this emergency drop-by despite the busy sched because this certain Nikki Gil wedding song, courtesy of geniuses in Johnoy Danao and Clara Benin, makes me happy and pleasantly surprised in a way I can only remember a few other tracks ever does in the recent past, that I had no choice but to totally put it in this blog. No less than that. The record’s bareness in terms of instrumentation, focus on lyrics and melody, and the signature Danao and Benin vocals which are too chilled and breezy prompting the condensation of yer own breath are the true specters of soundscapes haunting down every eardrum it resonates upon with.
