Sydney’s Jupiter V have released an album as the follow up to their H-Bomb single and it is equally as tough.
Fifth from the Sun is thirteen tracks, with the two from the single included, that do not disappoint. Maintaining their first wave Punk sound, peppered with the Sixties, the band pummel you from go to whoa.
Distinctive vocals are accompanied by strong and experienced band playing well crafted songs. All thirteen of these tracks, whether fast or moody, Fifth from the Sun is pure Australian rock and roll.
The album, like it’s two track predecessor, is loaded with hooks and groove. There’s magnificent lead work capping the aural chaos and clever dynamics. Everyone’s playing is solid and it shines through the production.Jupiter V have released a killer album that deserves the acclaim it will no doubt receive. I can’t wait to hear what’s next. Well done, Good Sirs.
