Having been a fan of the 50/50s since seeing them play at Frankie’s Pizza on 01 March 2018 with the Fight Ibis and The Knots it was exciting to have the video for the new track Holiday appear on our radar, albeit a month behind the release date.

Holiday is a beautifully crafted piece of House Rockin’ Blues that bounces along with an infectious groove and great guitar work. The duo rock out, belting out lyrics in their mother tongue. This one really gets you up and dancing.

We would love to see them back in Australia. (Along with our other Japanese friends. – Ed.) Of note, they are playing at the end of the month with Melbourne’s Long Hours. A return to Japan is on the cards and long overdue.
