With the 2020 presidential elections barely 8 weeks away, Pop superstar Olivia Rox decided to write and record an inspiring new song called “Go Vote”.
Olivia herself is a first time voter, so seeing the reactions of her friends gave her the idea to record “Go Vote”. The young popstar wants to reach her generation and help inspire them to stand up and let their voices be heard.
Listen to Go Vote Here!
It all started when she was asking her friends if they were going to vote in November. They all told her that they were probably not going to because they thought that their individual vote would not make a difference.
“GO VOTE” talks about the importance of each of our own individual voices and votes. The new song is everywhere (including Spotify) now!
Who is Olivia Rox? Rox is the daughter of saxophonist Warren Hill and singer-turned-producer Tamara Van Cleef. The pop superstar started her career at the young age of 12 when asking to join her father on-stage to sing “Someday My Prince Will Come”. Olivia wrote her first song at age four and had composed hundreds more by her late teens. More recently, she was a finalist on American Idol, and she appeared singing Justin Bieber’s “As Long As You Love Me” on TV’s America’s Got Talent. Following a great relationship with Warner Bros. Records, Rox began shooting her own Roxumentary web series, and has since signed with Songbird Records. With the record label, Rox has already releasing 2 full-length albums, with 4 of the singles topping the pop radio charts.
