“Got the stripes like Adidas, I run through the pack like a cheetah, all this flex I’m Vegeta”

Last November a good friend of mine introduced me to Sacramento-based (Roseville to be exact) rap group S.S. Elegance, and I haven’t stopped listening to them ever since. S.S. Elegance is composed of five talented and flashy up-and-coming artist. Their names are YOUNG RVCK$$, YUNGSVUCE, Yung MUMMY, LIL KRO$$$ and Yung Kon. Elegance caught my attention, with their catchy song “PULLUP N FLO$$” featuring FATJACK. It’s only been 4 months since it’s initial release date and it has already surpassed 7,000 plays on Soundcloud. This song shows signs of potential. I truly feel like it could blow up in the underground and possibly mainstream. For a group who only has 83 Twitter followers and 514 Soundcloud followers, that’s amazing! I’m not from Sacramento but seeing those numbers I assume they most be getting love from locals, which is the first step. Anyway, Elegance does not have just one catchy song with potential, they have many. Elegance has been able to produce six songs with over 5,000 plays! For up-and-coming artist, that’s defiantly something to be proud of. They even have a freestyle with over 14.9k plays. But numbers aren’t all there is to it, looking over their tracks I see a plethora of songs with less than 5,000 plays that sound good. For example, my favorite song of theirs “Fuck It Up” With more experience, commitment, and hard work, I think Elegance can be something big.
