What first drew you into music?

Being that there’s 3 of us in the group, answering that could get lengthy so we’ll keep it short. Billie G started as part of the choir at the church he went to when he was young which blossomed into freestyles. Lusensei started his fascination for Music by learning how to play instruments, he played in a rock band before he fell in love with rap music, Akil was born in a music environment and started playing instruments very early too..

Listening to your music we can tell you love incorporating interesting new sounds and techniques within each track! What inspires you to experiment and evolve?

It’s the energy that the three of us bring together in the studio that inspires new ideas, we always have a different process with a different result. We think the biggest mistake an artist can make is placing themselves in a box and labeling it “My Style”.

It seems like you already found your signature sound Do you have any tips for upcoming musicians that can’t seem to find their own sound?

Be real. Never stop creating. You’ll find you sound along the way. Listening to your favorite artists on repeat can be a huge problem. Their style, flow and delivery can bleed into your music and you sense that as your writing/producing.

Your track “Life Is Short” is your best track in our opinion! From its artwork to the Incredibly powerful sound we absolutely love it. Could you tell us more about the story behind this track? Also, what is your creative process like?

The 3 of us were in a studio in France this summer. My brother sent this beat over from Toronto. The beat felt deep and hardcore at the same time and Akil had this idea of repeating “life is short” on the hook. Billie G freestyled his fire and Lusensei gave his lyrics. The story behind the song is simple, life is short and with recent developments around the world were learning how much more apparent that is. Live your life and go get whatever it is you’re after.

What are your musical goals for the future?

Our #1 goal is to put our money together and split on Lil Wayne and Birdman’s mansion on Cribs so we can smoke blunts in the jacuzzi. Or to brainwash 7 billion people into thinking we are the greatest group since The Beatles. Whichever comes first.

What do you have planned for the coming months? Any upcoming projects we can get excited about?

We got a lot of singles ready so we are releasing them practically every month. Playing lives sometimes this summer and there may be a slight possibility we’re working on an album for the near future, but things are under wraps for now.
