What first drew you into music?
I have been drawn to music since a kid, it all started with just break dancing to different beats and dubsteps to then listening to Lil Wayne and instrumentals. i started freestyling and loved showing off my bars off the top in front of friends and family.
You are one of the best up and coming musicians we have encountered on the internet! And your track “Night Owl” is probably your best track yet! Could you tell us more about the story behind this track?
I freestyle all my tracks and it really depends on the mood I’m in…the beat usually talks to me in a weird way. i heard that beat for Night Owl and just started feeling a night owl like dark side but party vibe…i express my depressed emotions with the party vibe like most party animals i drown my sorrows with party favors and stay out late till the sun is up. In other words usually when someone parties everyday in a unhealthy way its usually cause there depressed and that’s the easiest way to deal with it.
Going over your Soundcloud we can tell you love experimenting with new sounds. Can you tell us more about your studio setup and some of your favorite plugins/instruments?
My studio set up is pretty simple believe it or not, nothing to fancy. im just really comfortable with my voice and i use it as a instrument and constantly experiment to keep people guessing. its honestly a natural talent i have like i leave my body sometimes when i’m recording and just throw all my emotions on the beat. I don’t play any instruments but i can freestyle to just about any instrument and come up with melodies off the top that fit perfectly. i look to it as a gift.
Your signature sound is already very professional and amazing to listen to! How did you manage to achieve such a professional sound in such a short time? Can you tell us more about your musical background?
I honestly developed my sound by just constantly recording and exploring/breaking different boundaries with my voice. it also comes alot from being inspired by a lot of icons like Lil Wayne, Prince, Marvin gay and etc…i love blues and rock, hip hop, and pop. i could never put myself in one genre because i love every genre and have made music that fits just about every genre.
All of your tracks are very melodic. Do you play any real-life instruments?
I don’t play any instruments but i do call my voice a special instrument because i can make just sounds with no words and it sounds like a instrument that only i have you know. i love melodies and i love just letting out sounds like i said it really just comes natural.
What are your goals for the coming months? Any upcoming projects we can get excited about?
My goal is to become a really good videographer and release some music videos directed by me by next year. i will be releasing a track at least every month as i keep evolving to keep my fans entwine with how things are sounding as we move forward.
