What first drew you into music?
“I first started making Music around middle school with some close friends, it was like 4 of us and we made a band called “ROCKET DOG”. We really didn’t know what we were doing but it’s what got me started on the path of making music. “
You are one of the best up and coming musicians we have encountered on the internet! And your track “With You” is probably your best track yet! Could you tell us more about the story behind this track?
“At the time, I was going through some hard times dealing with love so I decided to just put my feelings into that song. I freestyled it in one of my boys studio and that’s how it came about.”
Going over your Soundcloud we can tell you love experimenting with new sounds. Can you tell us more about your studio setup and some of your favorite plugins/instruments?
“I don’t want to give away my secrets just know it’s some Fiji shit. When I create a song I like to imagine myself in a movie and im playing the main character.”
Your signature sound is already very professional and amazing to listen to! How did you manage to achieve such a professional sound in such a short time? Can you tell us more about your musical background?
“I have been making music for almost my whole life and I just stayed consistent and practiced my sound everyday. When I was younger I grew up on Rock/Alternative music. My favorite bands were Green Day, Blink 182, All American Rejects, Pink Floyd, and Nirvana. As I got older I started listening to more Hip Hop. Rappers like Lil Wayne, Eminem, Mac Miller, and Kid Cudi are what inspired me to start rapping.”
All of your tracks are very melodic. Do you play any real-life instruments?
“I know how to play the guitar and the piano. I am currently learning how to play the saxophone.”
What are your goals for the coming months? Any upcoming projects we can get excited about?
“Hell yeah! I got an album I am working on right and it’s called “PLAYGROUND”. Its gonna have many different new sounds, better than anything you’ve heard before. I don’t know when it’s dropping but its coming real soon so stay posted.”
