What first drew you into music?

I’ve always been passionate about Music since I can remember. I used to sing along to any TV series or cartoons when I was a kid.

At 16, I found out about a software where I was able to create a whole song by putting music samples together. That was such a fantastic feeling. Having the “power” of creating something myself just kicked in, during that exact moment. Since then, I stopped playing video games and music became my full-time commitment, right after my day at school.

Your track “Love In Sydney” is absolutely amazing! How did you achieve such a great signature sound in such a short time? Also, what is your creative process like?

“Love in Sydney” is a culmination of 5 years living in this beautiful city and the way it makes me feel. It combines all the stories from all the people I’ve met along the way, locals, Europeans, Asian, Africans, South Americans but sadly, no Eskimos, yet.

Summer vibes, tropical house, trumpets and sax are undoubtedly part of my signature sound. I could sense people were into this kind of vibe since my first solo single “Panamalu” became popular. It had a slow start and has now hit more than 3 Million streams on Spotify and also added to more than 4000 playlists, so it had to resonate with some people!
When producing a song, I always start from the beat. I put together instruments, record piano track and other melodies until I find the perfect symphony that blends and tie everything together.
Having such a stunning view of the city of Sydney always in front of my eyes definitely helps while seeking for inspiration. Thanks to that, I came up with uplifting melodies for the vocals, and work on them until I feel goosebumps myself while listening to it.
The final important part is surely the lyrics, and this is where I found my best friend and great collaborator Chamira, who helped me to find the right wording to explain the feeling and vibe I had in my head.

Going over your Soundcloud we can tell you love experimenting with new sounds. Can you tell us more about your studio setup and some of your favorite plugins/instruments?

I do love experimenting with new sounds and vibes! I love the idea of surprising myself and my fans with a different kind of style every time a new single drop.
My studio setup is very simple, having moved from Italy to Australia, all I have is Logic on my Mac Laptop, a small Bose speaker, an external soundcard and a pro mic. One of my favourite VST for synth and pads is Reaktor from Native Instruments because it gives a huge custom library of sounds.

Your music sounds very organic and authentic. Do you play any real-life instruments?

I play a bit of piano and guitar, nothing at a high level, but they help in my creative process. Even though I create house music, I feel real instruments add soul to the song.
Most of the time, I like releasing an acoustic version of my song so that people can have a different perspective of my music.

What are your musical goals for the future?

I’m producing music regularly, which means new releases will drop very soon! At the moment I’m looking for an agent for TV placements and live gigs, so if that’s you, feel free to contact me

What are your goals for the coming months? Any upcoming projects we can get excited about?

Absolutely! At the end of the year, I will release a new single, another tropical house vibe which will surely catch your ears at first listen.
I’ve also been working hard for these last few months on a brand new project called “Milsons Bros“, we are a duet music producer and songwriter.
We are about to release a new single and the official music video with a tropical, reggaeton vibe, which I’m really excited about.
I invite everyone to follow me on my “Fabio Carry” social media and Spotify to stay connected with all these upcoming releases!
