What first drew you into music and rap/hip-hop in particular?

Well, I’ve always enjoyed listening to the hip hop/rap genre. My brother showed me a lot of rappers like lil wayne and rick ross, so I started liking the genre more. I first started making beats probably about 8 months ago because I was interested in the whole creative process involved in making those beats. After a while started writing Lyrics to some of my beats and decided to start recording my lyrics. It took a lot of work to have a finished Song that I actually liked but I dropped ‘Love Is Hurt’ and continued from there.

Your track “Alone again” is very modern and the lyrics are amazing! How did you achieve such a great signature sound in such a short time? Also, what is your creative process like?

I’d say me devoting a lot of time to writing my lyrics helped me improve quickly and it came to me naturally after having problems with ‘love’. I felt like obviously me being only 16 years of age, teenage emotions kind of overwhelmed me and I needed a way to express my feelings. As for my creative process, I don’t like to force anything, when I write my lyrics I have to be in a certain mood and I like to take my time and just let everything flow. Recording can be annoying cause it might take me 50 takes to get a verse right but I enjoy it, I’m constantly listening to Music to find inspiration and help improve my sound.

You have worked with many great producers/artists in the past If you could work with anyone who would that be?

If I could work with anyone at this moment in time, it would be Juice Wrld. I feel him and I would kind of just click in a sense and I really like his voice. It would be great to meet him and make a song with him one day. But if Xxxtentacion was still alive, I would want to work with him as well, I listen to a lot of his and Juices songs and I would say they’re my two favourite artists. RIP X

You have recently released a track titled “Strife”. The track is a modern Hip-hop/Acoustic fusion and we wonder if you plan to release more Acoustic sounding tracks in the future.

Yeah definitely, those are my favourite type of beats because I feel they sound raw and organic. I  Recently linked up with a producer called ‘King AP’ and we have a lot of acoustic based songs coming soon. I’m also getting into playing the guitar and I might make just a raw acoustic song without any kicks, hi hats or 808’s.

What are your musical goals for the future?

My musical goals are first to hit 1 million plays on a song, it’s probably quite unlikely at this point in my career but I feel that the more music I make the more my songs are going to improve so we’ll just have to see. Finally, I would love for my music to blow up and start selling out shows and go on tour because that is the life I would want to live, the thrill of every bit of the life of a famous artist really interests me.

What are your goals for the coming months, any upcoming projects we can get excited about?

I’d love to perform my first gig no matter how big or small the crowd cause I feel that the experience would be amazing and just to see more of my fans in person and turn up with them would be great.  I also want my fan base to keep on increasing and get stronger cause even right now I appreciate every single person who takes time out of their day to listen to my music and I want that bond to keep on spreading to a wider audience. I’ve got an EP called ‘Scars Left Behind’ dropping soon, I know I’ve been hyping it up for a while but I’m taking my time with this cause I really want this to be perfect for my fans. Should be dropping sometime next month so just wait on it!
