“Triple Double” is the newest album by Tomas Fujiwara which is released today, on October 20. Bandleader, composer and drummer Tomas Fujiwara recorded his newest album with other famous jazz Musicians – Gerald Cleaver (drums), Mary Halvorson (guitar), Brandon Seabrook (guitar), Taylor Ho Bynum (cornet) and Ralph Alessi (trumpet). The musicians had improvised together in various combinations with other famous avant-garde jazz musicians – Matana Roberts, Tomeka Reid, Amir ElSaffar and many others. Musicians have their own and original sound, unique playing manner which is based on free musical experiments and creative decisions. Their music is full of unpredictable sounds and timbres, Colorful Stylistic Waves and turns. This album is a rare opportunity to hear six great and experienced jazz masters playing together.

Album compositions are based on synthesis between avant-garde, modern jazz and various elements of rock styles. The basic of the compositions are free collective improvisations.
