HypeCity made a stop by Breakfast with Barz atThe Loungein Philadelphia, PA to enjoy some fire bars and bacon.

The live Hip Hop showcase was presented by Trenton Emcee Kilogram (@kilogram3) and his Chain of Command label, along with Money Miz (@therealmoneymiz)and Money Miz Entertainment.

Kilogram brought out guest Judges Capone, formerly one half of legendary hip hop duo Capone n’ Noreaga, Philly's own Peedi Crakk of State Property, and Mike Turk aka "Hip Hop Mike" from Hot 97 (@HipHopMike).

The showcase featured performances by talented emcees from New Jersey and Philadelphia, each of whom performed one or two of their best records to prove they were the best of the best when it comes to the bars.

Among the notable performances was Camden’s Funch the Camden Kid (@funch_the_camden_kid), who performed his single “Sorry,” and is soon to release his summer banger "Go Down" featuring Jaisun. Jersey native Richie Workhorse (@daworkhorse_)  performed “Rumble" off his album5/5and "By the Way" off hisDon’t Wait for the Cosignmixtape. Trenton artist Diverse Character (@versecharacter) rocked the crowd with his singles "Ring Ring Ring,” produced by CashMoneyAP (@cashmoneyAP) and “On Me,” produced by Lucid Swank (@lucidswank).

There were also performances by Nik Flair (@_nikflair), C Dolla (@officialcdolla), Mike Troutman (@qmoshyn_rhymebook), Nukah Delove (@nukahedelove) and Keko (@daonly_keko)

Finally, Kilogram himself grabbed the mic to perform his latest work.

At the end of the night, the man of the hour was Trenton, NJ artist Bangout aka B.O.R.N. He performed some of hislatest heatand was declared the official winner of Breakfast with Barz, receiving the trophy from Kilogram himself.

It was a great night for hip hop.
