Wait, no, I said that I DEFY the 14th!
Why do I hate Valentine’s so much?
Well, I don’t really hate it. I just get annoyed how pushy everything can be.
Pressure. Pressure. Pressure.
No, I go by God’s timeline!
I wait for His will and His alone.
What I mean is that I feel that our culture is just pushing their sexy agenda and it just downright annoys me. Pushing for love and all that, why why why?
Why can’t I live my own life? Why can’t I decide what I wanna do?
I have decided to follow Jesus.
So, why can’t I live the way Jesus has planned for me?
Stop trying to make me feel bad for not having a girl. Stop trying to make me feel bad for not joining in your sin. Your “perfect life” is not for me.
The world joins together as a big group. But I’m one like on the outside.

Lord, I wait for your will and yours alone. It is a strong desire of mine to get married, but I will wait for the one you have planned. Please help me to shut off the world’s influence in my life. I zone into Your Word and seek Your will for my life. You will reveal everything in Your time. And I surrender my life to you and wait patiently.
Better to marry old and be happy, than to marry young and be sorry.
With God on my side, I will have the most amazing life that anyone could imagine. With me in His will, I will be able to leave a Legacy for Him. I will keep pumpin’ for Him Til The Day I Die.
In the end, I will have Perfect Life, not a cover-up one with its hidden lies.
I got me a perfect life. And it came from obeying God. And I shall maintain it.

Really, I don't hate Valentine's Day that much. I do think it's a great day for couples to have some special time together. And the story of St. Valentine is amazing. An amazing man of God. I celebrate Valentine's Day because of him. I just don't like it when Christmas is all about gifts, Easter all about bunnies, and Valentine's only about love.
