bold (adj.) not hesitating or fearful in the face of actual or possible danger or rebuff; courageous and daring
Jesus gave us a mission. He told us to go out into the whole world and preach the Good News. God wants us to be bold.
When someone dies, we always cherish the last words they say to us. The last words of Jesus commanded us to go into the world to preach the Good News.
Tell me. If you saw someone who was in actual danger, what would you do?
You could Walk by. Someone will save him.
“No way!” you would tell me. You would want to go and save the person’s life.
Well, there are people going to hell. And as soon as they are gone, they are gone. Forever. No second chances.
It honestly doesn’t make much sense. If we know that people will eventually die and go to hell, how come we aren’t doing anything about it?
I recently read this letter written by an atheist in a book I was recently reading (the book I’ll get to later). And this is what it said:

“When you speak with me, you are speaking with someone who you believe is walking directly into eternal damnation, into an endless onslaught of horrendous pain which your loving God created, yet you stand by and do nothing.
“If you believed one bit that thousands every day were falling into an eternal and unchangeable fate, you should be running the streets mad with rage at their blindness. That's equivalent to standing on a street corner and watching every person that passes you walk blindly directly into the path of a bus and die, yet you stand idly by and do nothing. You're just twiddling your thumbs, happy in the knowledge that one day that Walk signal will shine your way across the road.
Think about it. Imagine the horrors hell must have in store if the Bible is true. You're just going to allow that to happen and not care about saving anyone but yourself? If you're right, then you're an uncaring, unemotional, and purely selfish [beep] that has no right to talk about subjects such as love and caring."
Shouldn’t this spur us on to do something more?
I’m determined that we should be bold in our witness for the Lord. People don’t know unless we say something, right? If we won the lottery, we walk down the street and people instantly know that we won the lottery because our faces say so, right? Of course not!
God has shown me during the past few weeks that I should be bold. To be bold. Bold.
To be able to talk to people.
But I am dealing with a little thing called fear. But it is also called sin.
Fear is selfish. It keeps me from sharing the Good News of Christ to others. I start to think about how I will act like or feel.
But how I feel is nothing compared to someone’s eternal destiny.
I am naturally a shy person. Even sometimes I do have a little trouble deciding whether to approach my friends or not. Then when I make a decision, sometimes it’s too late. But that shyness, Mark Cahill said, can help me not shove the Gospel down someone's throat and be able to present it in a kind and loving way.
But I don’t want it to be too late for people to accept Christ. But if I keep my trap shut, then that’s another soul going to hell.
But if I’m filed with the Holy Spirit, then that should make fear far from me. If I do dwell in fear, then I am quenching the Spirit. But the Holy Spirit gives me boldness, not fear.
Bold.
How else with the world know unless we say something? The people’s future is more important than our status.
And what matters more is that we are obeying our God.
