New Music & Exciting News From Coretheband

Coretheband has got to be the only band that I know from Crete. Formed in 2012 by frontman Jacob Gale and drummer Maxi they were then joined by guitarist Lefteris, bassist Sifis, and keyboardist Artemis. Listening to their music, very notable pop-rock/pop-punk influences come across. ‘Dress Code' and ‘Pull the Curtain' really show off their incredible pop-punk sound. However, the band also show their ability to play slower more reflective songs like ‘Elephant' which shows their pop-rock abilities with an added electronic vibe going throughout the chorus.
Coretheband has made masses of movement in the Greek music scene has been on Greek TV and won many Greek/International awards. Appearing as a support to You Me at Six's Athens date in October 2017 also shows how popular they are in their home country. They are now making their move across the rest of the world including the UK after playing their first UK shows in March 2018.
Having released two EP's, ‘40% Vol.' (Dec. 2015) and ‘The Waiting Game' (Apr. 2017), Coretheband has announced their debut album is on its way later this year. Their album ‘I (DON'T) KNOW' is being released in May, and they have some big shows coming up to support the album. They have announced 3 London shows in June before they support Arctic Monkeys at Athens' Rockwave Festival in July. They have also been shortlisted to perform at London Fashion Week later this year.
The band's new single, ‘Constantly' again replicates the great sound they are known for, but this time they have added some psychedelic twists. Like ‘Elephant' there are also electronic aspects to the song, but with guitar riffs throughout the song and Gale's very punky voice you can definitely tell it's still them behind the writing.
