Dave C. Rupert is a RNCM graduate from Manchester. The trained Opera singer/songwriter would write songs in his bedroom between classes, and soon formed a solo project with his close Uni friends; who now form a part of his live band. Dave C. Rupert has been building a fanbase online with releases on Soundcloud and performing around Manchester and the UK that included support slots with Jake Bugg and Matt Corby.

Rupert releases 'Taunt' from his upcoming Debut EP. The track is a powerful and dark introduction that incorporates all the electrical influences of the singer’s interest.

'Taunt' is electric pop infused with beats that strike with every expressed word. The song begins with electric –fused guitar and mesmerising keys that create an uneasy atmosphere that soon explodes with Rupert’s powerful rage enriched with raw emotion and Impressive Storytelling.

As the artist states about the song: “I guess it's a song about being a jealous/paranoid boyfriend and dealing with long distance relationships badly".

Dave C. Rupert has also released 'Cold' which is also a deep, personal tale about making mistakes and where to go from there. The song is emotional, thought-provoking and melodic.
