Whinnie Williams blazes back into the public realm with this bop that will make you sway, dance, sing and feel like you’ve walked into an 80’s disco where the pink lights

are circling around you and you have an unpleasant but very on trend dress on.

‘What About Me’, Whinnie's last release, follows in the footsteps of her recent songs 'Too Strong' and 'Real Damn Bad' which are both amazing if you ask me.

Whinnie comments, “I was going through a phase where I

felt like I was helping a lot of people but wasn’t getting the same back, so I was in

the studio with will Vaughan from Crystal Bats and we were working on a song and I just sang out the line 'What About Me!!' I wanted to tap into the Crystal Bats sound with my RnB melodies and I love the combination!”

And it’s safe to say that she will be getting the recognition she needs because she is

bound to be a hit with her new song and an album may be coming next year which we can all look forward to listening to.

When listening to the song 'What About Me' it’s silly and quite daft but I closed my eyes and felt that I was somewhere in Japan drinking herbal tea (which I don’t like) looking out at a beautiful river while the music plays softly in the background. Dreamland right there.

Don’t worry if you don't envision that because ‘What About Me' should send you to a

place you’ve always wanted to go and by the time the song ends you're going to snap

back to reality and want to play it again. So just do it, play that song one

more time. It’s in your best interest.
