Kendrick Lamar drops off a new song today titled “The Heart Part IV.” Following his cryptic post on Instagram Thursday morning, Kendrick Lamar has released the fourth installment in his series “The Heart.”
Kendrick Lamar released a new song, “The Heart Part 4,” late on Thursday night. It’s the first solo music we’ve heard from the rapper since 2016’s untitled unmastered, and could be a sign that the rapper’s fourth album is on the way.
“Don’t tell a lie on me/I won’t tell the truth about you,” the rapper warns in the opening lines. The song continues as one long diss track, with Kendrick asserting himself over an unnamed rapper and even Donald Trump.
Kendrick also hints that his new album could be dropping as soon as April, with the closing line of the track being, “Y’all got til April the 7th to get your shit together.”
